Super easy to use, and accurate. I bought this to have a 2nd thermometer for my 3.5 year old to leave at the grandparents house (who care for my daughter after school). I had a fairly expensive (over double the price of this one) forehead thermometer I received at my baby shower. This is much better, consistent, and appears accurate-I chose to keep this one at our home! I'm even considering buying a 2nd to replace the original. I prefer using the temporal reading, but love having the option for ear. Haven't had a need to take a room temp-but nice to know it's there if I need it. Versatile, reliable, and great price!

Bought this for my toddler who is always restless while taking temperature. I have the old type of thermometer that you measure on underarm which takes forever to measure. Our literally take more than minute. And that one minute with sick toddler feels like an hour. Thought this will solve my issue and it did. We can measure this thermometer on forehead and the reading was very fast. It was accurate as well. It was very lightweight and also came with a couple of batteries which was nice.

I ordered his thermometer for a few reasons. My old ear thermometer didn’t have a backlight, which made it hard to sneak a quick temp on my baby in the dark. It also only stored 1 prior temp. It was also very inconsistent, while I know it’s normal to have a slight difference with a repeat temp, I would get two diff results that made the difference between giving Tylenol or not, so I would give just to make sure even though I had one non fever reading and one fever reading right after the other. Very frustrating! And it required a new ear probe cover which cost can add up during cold and flu season.
