Light in weight and very easy to use. it gets accurate readings at all times. This is because the traditional cold tip of some thermometers has been known to cause lower temperatures being measured. This makes it very useful when trying to measure the temperature of a child who suffers from fever.

When my kids are sick, they hate being touched, and this is a perfect alternative. I need to know if they have a fever and be able to monitor it frequently. This is a very convenient and accurate way to still make sure that my kids are taken care of properly when they are sick!
